Tubby after Nebraska: 'We were horrible'

Two big steps forward, one huge step back.

That's the fallout from the Gophers' 53-51 loss to Nebraska Wednesday night, a showing which once again has some Minnesota fans calling for Tubby Smith's removal.

Minnesota, coming off wins against Indiana and Penn State, dropped to 1-7 on the road in the Big 10 this year.

Smith, meanwhile, was asked if Nebraska celebrating Senior Night rattled his team. The coach didn't dodge the question, telling "It must have. We were horrible."

The bright side? Nebraska fans stormed the court like they had just defeated the best team on the planet.
