Minnesota Timberwolves 104

Houston Rockets 107

A desperation three-pointer from Kevin Martin came up short and the Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the Houston Rockets 107-104 Wednesday night in Houston.

It was the eighth straight loss for the Wolves, who are still winless in 2016.

1. Turnovers turned into points

The Wolves were hurt by 21 turnovers in the game, and Houston turned that into 31 points. Of those turnovers, nine of them came from Wolves point guard Ricky Rubio.

James Harden made sure the Rockets took advantage of the Minnesota miscues. He finished with 27 points on the night, while Dwight Howard added 15 points to go with 10 boards.

2. Big Swings

There were nine lead changes and five ties in the game, which also included a pair of big runs – one each way.

3. Wiggins puts together another solid night.

Andrew Wiggins continued to play well. He finished with 28 points on 9-of-16 shooting. Wiggins was also 8-of-9 from the free throw line, grabbed two rebounds and dished out an assist.

Martin complimented Wiggins well from the outside, he scored 22 points and was 3-of-7 from behind the arc.
