The Twins fell deeper into their slump when they were shutout, 4-0 by the Blue Jays in Toronto Friday night. It's Minnesota's sixth straight loss.

Mark Buehrle, who dominated the Twins during his tenure with the White Sox, worked quickly through seven scoreless innings. The left-hander allowed six hits, didn't walk a batter, and struck out five.

Buehrle has allowed just one run in his last 37 2/3 innings against the Twins.

His counterpart, Kevin Correia, didn't fare as well for Minnesota. The right-hander gave up a solo home run to Jose Bautista in the third, and three more runs to the Jays in the fourth -- highlighted by a two-run double by Jose Reyes.

Bautista has 10 home runs in his last nine games against the Twins.

Correia allowed 13 baserunenrs (10 hits, 3 walks) over six innings.

Brian Dozier and Oswaldo Arcia each had two hits for the Twins.

At 36-47, the Twins have the exact same record at this point of the season as they did last year on July 6.

Saturday's game starts at 12:07 p.m. CT. Mike Pelfrey starts for the Twins against 2012 Cy Young Award winner, R.A. Dickey.

Note: The Twins are 0-12 on Friday's this season. Wow.
