The baby blue uniforms donned by the likes of Kirby Puckett, Kent Hrbek and Rod Carew during the 1970s and 80s are making a comeback.
The Twins announced Monday that its brining back the vintage baby blue road uniforms worn by team from 1973-1986, noting that they will serve as an alternate uniform in 2020. The Twins can choose to wear them at home or on the road.
In addition, all Twins uniforms next season will feature a logo on the right sleeve to commemorate what will be the 60th season since the club moved to Minnesota in 1961.
According to a release, the logo will include "iconic Minneapolis and St. Paul buildings joined together in a blended, silhouetted skyline set against the Stone Arch Bridge and the Mississippi River."
