The Twins kick off the second half of the season tonight with a seven-game homestand. Oakland is up first with a weekend series. Next week, Jim Thome gets another tour of Minneapolis as his new team -- the Baltimore Orioles -- face the Twins in a four game set.

Starter Cole De Vries pitched six strong innings, but the Twins bullpen couldn't hold the lead, and split their four-game series with the Twins. On a positive note, Cole De Vries allowed just one run over six innings and Trevor Plouffe extended his hitting streak to 17 games.
