The Minnesota Twins are leading the charge toward Lynx fever, and are giving away free tickets (!) for the Lynx' first playoff game Friday at Target Center.

According to the Associated Press, the Twins have purchased 500 tickets for the Minnesota Lynx playoff opener on Friday night against Seattle. The upper level tickets will be available for free to those who call the Lynx ticket office.

See, now, there's some brotherly-sisterly love right there. The Pioneer Press even reports that Twins closer and Minnesota native Glen Perkins cut some radio ads to congratulate the Lynx as they go for their third straight WNBA finals appearance.

The Lynx are largely seen as the favorite heading into the WNBA playoffs, and take on the Seattle Storm. They have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The first 250 fans who call the Lynx ticket office at 612-673-8400 starting at 8 a.m. local time on Tuesday can claim two tickets.
