Samuel Deduno's season is over.

The Twins shut down the right-handed starter on Sunday, according to 1500 ESPN. Deduno's sore shoulder might require minor surgery.

Meanwhile, the Twins announced seven September call-ups on Sunday.

Getting the call were pitchers Scott Diamond, Cole De Vries, Michael Tonkin and Shairon Martis, infielder Eduardo Escobar, outfielder Chris Parmelee and catcher Eric Fryer.

All seven make the jump from Triple-A Rochester, where the Red Wings' playoff run ended in a five-game series to Pawtuckett.
