Mike Pelfrey regrouped after a rough start and the Twins rallied behind a four hit game from Clete Thomas in a come-from-behind win over the Phillies, 4-3 Wednesday night at Target Field.

Pelfrey gave up a pair of runs in the first inning before setting down to pitch seven strong innings. He allowed three runs on five hits while tying a season high with seven strikeouts.

Thomas put the Twins on the board with a double to deep right center in the fourth, scoring Oswaldo Arcia.

Ex-Twins outfielder Ben Revere gave the the Phillies a 3-1 lead with an RBI single in the fifth, but that's all Pelfrey would allow.

In the sixth, the Twins cut the lead to one on an RBI groundout by Pedro Florimon.

Back-to-back doubles by Arcia and Thomas against Philadelphia reliever Antonio Bastardo to start the eighth tied the game at 3-all.

Thomas advanced to third on a bunt single by Eduardo Escobar, and scored on a wild pitch by Justin De Fratus.

Glen Perkins closed the game with a 1-2-3 ninth for his 15th save of the season.

The 6-7-8 hitters (Arcia, Thomas, Escobar) for the Twins combined to go 9-11 at the plate.

Note: Thomas finished the game 4-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles and two RBI; Arcia went 3-4 with a double and three runs scored.
