The Minnesota Twins beat the Minnesota Gophers 3-1 Wednesday night in a spring training exhibition game in Ft. Myers, Florida.
It was a chance for Twins' fans to get a look at the future, as several of the top Twins prospects played significant roles in the team's victory.
Byron Buxton, who's been named baseball's top prospect, was 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and a run scored.

J.O. Berrios started on the mound. He allowed one run on one hit in two innings, while striking out four. Twins relievers then combined to throw seven scoreless innings of relief.
Shortstop Michael Handel had the only hit and drove in the only run for the Gophers.
The game was also interesting for it's nostalgia factor. Glen Perkins pitched an inning of relief against the team he played for in college and a pair of college teammates faced of as opposing managers.
The Twins open the Grapefruit League schedule for real on Thursday evening when they face Boston.
