Twins sign Doumit to contract extension

The Twins and utility player Ryan Doumit agreed to a two-year contract extension on Friday. He'll make $3.5 million in 2013 and 2014. Entering Friday night's game against the Royals, Doumit was hitting .271 with 7 homer and 32 RBI.
