Twins trim again: Hermmann, Meyer sent to minors
In Florida, more roster cuts today for the Twins.
Six players were sent to the minors, including catcher Chris Herrmann. He was sent to Triple A.
Pitching prospect Trevor May -- who came to Minnesota as part of the Ben Revere trade -- was sent to Double A.
According to the Twins official website, the club now has 56 players in camp: 27 pitchers (eight non-roster invitees), seven catchers (four), 12 infielders (six) and 10 outfielders (four).
On Sunday, the team reassigned right-handers Bryan Augenstein, Nick Blackburn, Alex Meyer, Lester Oliveros and Esmerling Vasquez to the minors.
