Brian Dozier hit an RBI triple in the seventh inning to lead the Twins to a 3-2 win over the Blue Jays Saturday at Target Field.

Dozier was hitting .205 with runners in scoring position, the Pioneer Press reports.

Minnesota starting pitcher Kyle Gibson didn't have his strongest performance on the mound, but kept the Twins in the game.

Gibson allowed two runs – one earned – on eight hits and four walks before he was relieved in the sixth inning, MLB.com reports.

Relievers included Brian Duensing, Ryan Pressley and Casey Fien.

Pressley threw a scoreless seventh inning.

Blaine Boyer closed out the game, picking up his first save of the year, according to MLB.com.

The Twins' performance inspired former Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak to tweet out another ode to the team.

Twins catcher Chris Herrmann hit a solo home run in the first, his first homer since August 2012, according to the Pioneer Press. He did have two throwing errors Saturday.

The Twins and Blue Jays are tied up for the top of the American League Central Division after Saturday's game.

The winner of Sunday's game will win the tied series. (The Twins lost Friday after the Blue Jays had a late rally.)

On Sunday Ricky Nolasco will start on the mound for the Twins. MLB.com reports Nolasco is aiming for his sixth win this month, having gone 5-0 with a 3.77 ERA for May.

Game starts at 1:10 p.m. Sunday.
