The Twins are sitting at .500 after a 5-3 win over the Chicago White Sox Saturday. Torri Hunter and Trevor Plouffe both hit homers in front of the Target Field crowd.

Twins pitcher Ricky Nolasco returned to the mound after a 15-day stint on the disabled list. MLB.com reports Nolasco wasn't at his "sharpest," allowing three runs on eight hits for the five innings he was in the game.

The Star Tribune called Nolasco's return a "success" though, noting he had four strike outs.

Chicago scored two runs in the second. The Twins came back in the bottom of the second with a run of their own when Plouffe hit a solo homer, his fourth home run of the season.

Chicago scored one more in the third, and Torii Hunter tied the game with a two-run homer.

Minnesota scored two more runs on an RBI from Plouffe and sacrifice fly from Kurt Suzuki to take the lead for good.

A parade of relievers kept Chicago from scoring again. The finishers included Aaron Thompson, Blaine Boyer, Brian Duensing, Michael Tonkin and Glen Perkins.

The Twins have won three in a row now and are 12-12 on the season.

The Twins and White Sox will finish off their series Sunday. Mike Pelfrey will be on the mound for the Twins. He is Minnesota's best starter, with a 2.25 ERA in four starts, MLB.com reports.
