Tyus Jones tore up the D-League so the Wolves recalled him
The Timberwolves have recalled Tyus Jones from the Developmental League.
The former Minnesota Mr. Basketball and Apple Valley native averaged 24.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5 assists while shooting 42.6 percent from three in six games in the D-League. He played for the Idaho Stampede.
No word on if he’ll get any playing time with the Wolves. He's played in just two games as a rookie and was behind Ricky Rubio, Zach LaVine and Andre Miller on the depth chart.
Minnesota is back on the court Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs.
