Urlacher fined for tackle on Peterson

Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher was fined $15,750 for a horse-collar tackle on Adrian Peterson Sunday at Soldier Field, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Urlacher says he will appeal the fine.

The tackle happened late in the fourth quarter near the sideline after a screen pass and earned a 15-yard penalty.

Bears defensive tackle Henry Melton was also fined $8,000 for grabbing Peterson's face mask in the third quarter.

Vikings lost the game to their NFC rival, 28-10.
