Team USA is a 42-point favorite in Thursday afternoon’s Olympic matchup, according to NBC sports. Wolves all-star Kevin Love has scored 30 points for the U.S. in their first two victories at the London Olympics.

Love took advantage of Wednesday's day off. He tweeted: "Big thanks to @Arsenal for having me. Got a chance to enjoy Emirates Stadium on our day off."

Bootsma won’t swim Saturday, but she will receive a medal if the team finishes in the top three.

The matchup shouldn't be much of a challenge for the United States. The Tunisian squad is ranked No. 32 in the world and doesn't have any NBA players on its roster.

Wolves' Kirilenko, Shved push Russia past China

Andrei Kirilenko and Alexey Shved led Russia to another easy victory on Tuesday, the Associated Press reports. The two future Timberwolves players helped beat China 73-54 in the men's Olympic basketball tournament. Kirilenko finished with 16 points and nine rebounds. Shved had 14 points and six assists. Russia will face Brazil on Thursday.

St. Paul native eliminated from epee fencing in London

An Olympic fencer from St. Paul bowed out of the London Games in the first individual round of the women’s epee fencing competition on Monday, the Pioneer Press reports. Susie Scanlan will compete in the team event when the U.S. takes on Italy on Saturday.
