Anaheim's Corey Perry better get his checkbook out.

He's facing a four-game suspension and a $115,000 fine for his hit on Wild rookie forward Jason Zucker in the second period of Tuesday night's Wild-Ducks game.

The NHL, in its ruling, said Perry had enough time to avoid "this violent check" -- noting that that he hit Zucker a full second after the puck was released.

Perry was penalized with a 5-minute major and game misconduct. Zucker had to be helped off the ice, leaving the game for what the Wild called an "upper-body injury."

After the game, Perry told the Associated Press that he doesn't "go out there looking to hurt guys. That's not the way I am."

Perry said he was "committed to the hit" on Zucker ... but at the same time "tried to let up."

On Wednesday, Zucker returned to the ice as the Wild held a practice at at Xcel Energy Center, according to Fox Sports North.

Wild coach Mike Yeo said Zucker does not have a concussion -- or he wouldn't have been allowed to skate.

Zucker, in a Tweet Wednesday afternoon, thanked everyone for their support:
