Remember when Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman erupted with a rant for the ages following Seattle's victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game?

It was an instant classic. It unfolded after 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick threw a fade to the back corner of the end zone intended for wide receiver Michael Crabtree, but Sherman tipped the pass into the hands of a teammate for a game-clinching interception. During a postgame interview with sideline reporter Erin Andrews, Sherman went off.

From little kids to Saturday Night Live, there have been countless parodies of the rant since. But little did anyone know that President Barack Obama was planning to take a page out of Sherman's playbook.

President Obama did while speaking at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday. Sherman was in attendance and The President used him as an example of how he deals with members of the media who make him feel "disrespected."

By the way, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and Burnsville native and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn were also at the dinner. Vonn sat at the People Magazine table while Peterson dined at the Thomson Reuters table, according to The Hill.
