It appears that Prince Fielder's career has come to an end. He is expected to make the news official during an announcement on Wednesday, according to ESPN.
The 32-year-old slugger played 12 seasons in the majors, between Milwaukee, Detroit and Texas. He slugged 319 home runs, ironically the exact same number hit by his father, Cecil Fielder.
Of those home runs, one will certainly spark a few memories for Twins fans. Fielder hit an inside-the-park home run at the Dome early in his career on a ball that Lew Ford lost in the roof.
