The Section 2AAA Championship game between Marshall and Waseca was one for the ages. It will go down as one of the all-time memorable finishes in Minnesota boys' basketball history.

Waseca beat Marshall 103-100 in four overtimes in St. Peter Thursday night to clinch a spot in the state 3A boys basketball tournament. But it wasn't just that they won, it was how they won it.

Waseca's Nick Dufault, a future Southwest Minnesota State Mustang (also in Marshall) hit a full-court three-pointer at the buzzer to send the game into a fourth overtime.

Then in that fourth overtime, Cole Streich won it with another three-pointer at the buzzer.

But Marshall had chances at a buzzer beater of their own, trailing by three in the closing seconds of regulation to force overtime.

In the end though, it was Dufault and Streich who won it for Waseca, sending the Blue Jays to the state tournament and a spot in Minnesota high school basketball history.
