Can't make the flight to London for this Sunday's Vikings-Steelers game? BringMeTheNews and Brit's Pub invite you to an event that is the next best thing to being there.

BringMeTheNews will be live-blogging the game from Brit's in downtown Minneapolis – come join what is guaranteed to be a spirited crowd for pints, pasties and purple pride. Revelers and readers will be invited to submit comments to the blog during the game (kickoff is at noon).

Brit's plans to broadcast the game on HDTVs throughout its sprawling, indoor-outdoor, multi-level pub, including on two big screens and in its outdoor viewing area. And the pub plans drink specials: $4 pints of Bud Light, $10 buckets of Bud Light (four bottles), and food specials between $3 and $6. Other game-day giveaways: glassware, T-shirts, gift cards and beads.

PLUS: At the end of the watch party Sunday afternoon, a winner will be drawn for two free tickets to the Oct. 13 Vikings-Panthers game.

Join the fun!

Brit's is between 11th and 12th streets on Nicollet Mall. Directions here.
