The Vikings will face Washington on Thursday and will be without Pro Bowl wide receiver Adam Thielen, who has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.
Thielen, despite speaking optimistically about his chances to play during his Tuesday media session, was reportedly "highly unlikely" to suit up on short rest after suffered a mild hamstring strain while making a touchdown catch in Sunday's 42-30 win over the Lions.
With Thielen out, the Vikings will again turn to Bisi Johnson for more action. Johnson, a rookie seventh-round pick, had four catches for 40 yards and a touchdown after Thielen was injured in Detroit.
Thielen is the only key player who won't play for the Vikings Thursday night.
For Washington, ex-Viking running back Adrian Peterson (ankle) and cornerback Josh Norman (thigh, hand) are questionable with injuries. Running back Chris Thompson (toe) and tight end Vernon Davis (concussion) are out.
Thursday's game kicks off at 7:20 p.m. inside U.S. Bank Stadium.
