Vikings injury report: Cook, Jefferson, Sanford miss practice; Williams, Ponder limited

We, as well as everyone else, have already beaten the horse that is Christian Ponder into the ground enough for one day, so we won't re-hash the fact that he was limited in practice with a rib injury.

Other Vikings injury report nuggets have defensive backs Chris Cook (groin), AJ Jefferson (ankle), and Jamarca Sanford (hamstring) all missing practice today and their status for Sunday's game is uncertain.

Any thought of bringing in Antoine Winfield with all the injuries to the Vikings secondary?

"I can't rule anything out," GM Rick Spielman said. "You never know."

Kevin Williams was also limited for The Purple, as the Vikings are still treating his injured knee that kept him out of Week 1's loss to Detroit with kid gloves.

One update on Ponder, he expects to play in Sunday's game despite those sore ribs.

Ponder haters rage can be felt from here.
