The final injury report before Sunday's season opener between the Vikings and Falcons is out and there's still no decision regarding wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
Diggs is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury that's kept him limited in practice the last two days. If Diggs it out, the Vikings will have very little experience at wide receiver behind Adam Thielen, with Chad Beebe, Bisi Johnson and Josh Doctson (if he's active for the game) as the lead options to take on Diggs' role.
"Yeah, we’ll see. I don’t know," said head coach Mike Zimmer when asked Friday if Diggs will play.
Irv Smith Jr., a rookie tight end with wide receiver-like speed, could also play a bigger role.
The other big injury update is for cornerback Mike Hughes, who is OUT as he continues to work his way back from a torn ACL suffered in Week 6 of his rookie season.
Cornerback Mackensie Alexander (hamstring), linebacker Kentrell Brothers (wrist), defensive end Everson Griffen (elbow), tackle Brian O'Neill (elbow) and nose tackle Linval Joseph (shoulder) were all full participants in practice on Friday and expected to play.
