If Kirk Cousins has anything to do about it, which he does, Stefon Diggs will be a top 50 player in the NFL next season.
NFL Network unveiled Diggs' name at No. 65 on NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2017 on Monday night, prompting the Vikings' quarterback to tag Diggs in a tweet saying "Congrats Diggsy, well deserved. Top 50 next year!"
The three-plus minutes NFL Network dedicated to Diggs on the Top 100 countdown was literally only about his game-winning touchdown catch and run to beat the Saints in the playoffs.
But Diggs was more than one play in 2017. In fact, Pro Football Focus graded him as the 10th-best wide receiver in the NFL last season as he finished with 64 catches for 849 yards and eight touchdowns.

Diggs was also the NFL's best when it came to catching passes in tight windows, which Nexgen Stats defines as "a throw where the intended receiver had less than a yard of separation from a defender."
He caught 61.9 percent of those tight window chances, which was far superior to the most heralded receiver in the NFL, Antonio Brown, who caught 40.9 percent of such targets.
The "Minneapolis Miracle," by the way, was named the No. 2 play of the year by NFL Network, trailing only the trick play touchdown pass caught by quarterback Nick Foles of the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
