Vikings agree to terms with offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz
Christian Ponder is probably feeling a littler safer today because the Vikings are expected to sign free-agent offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz. Schwartz broke the news on his Twitter page by tweeting he's "excited to be a Minnesota Viking." The 6-foot-6, 331 pound lineman is projected to replace Anthony Herrera at right guard.

Free agent offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz visited the Vikings on Monday, but he left town without signing a contract. Schwartz wants to make all of his scheduled free agent visits, and next on his list is San Francisco. On his Twitter page Schwartz said he had an "Awesome visit with the Vikings today."
