Vikings vs. Lions: Week 3 preview
This is what you call one of those gut-check games. The Vikings have to win, or making the playoffs is going to be really, really difficult. If they lose, and you still think they can make it into the tournament, it might be time for a reality-check.
Take it from Vikings blogger Bo Mitchell. He writes that if the Lions aren't vanquished today, do you really think the purple will playing the second weekend of January?
Over at the Daily Norseman, writer Eric J. Thompson says he's convinced -- because of "The Godfather"-- the Vikings will win. We're a bit a-Fredo of that prediction.
If you listen to the returning Kevin Williams, he's not panicking, but he's certainly not happy with the way things are going so far. He tells Fox Sports North that the Vikings simply gave away two games.
Some writers think Williams' return will help the defense from collapsing in the second half. Other writers say it's mind-boggling that Percy Harvin is a part time player. ESPN's Kevin Seifert seemed even more puzzled when Coach Leslie Frazier defended his use of Harvin, saying "we're taking the right approach."
How about you? Is it panic time? Or do you think the Vikings can improve to 1-2 this weekend?
