Minnesota was handed its first loss at the Little League World Series Sunday morning, losing 11-0 to Virginia in the second round.
Virginia no-hit Minnesota to become the sixth team in LLWS history to start the tournament with back-to-back no-hitters.
The loss comes two days after Minnesota opened the tournament with a 2-1 win over Kentucky. Fortunately, it's a double-elimination tourney, so Minnesota can stay alive in an elimination game Monday at 7 p.m.
Minnesota represents the Midwest Region, with a team from Coon Rapids-Andover winning the regional tournament to reach the LLWS in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
