The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the Charlotte Hornets 108-103 Monday night in Charlotte.

1. Hornets hitting from deep

The biggest difference in the game was the Hornets' outside shooting. Kemba Walker knocked down six three-pointers and scored 34 to lead the way.

But he wasn't the only Hornet hitting from long range. As a team, Charlotte made 12 threes.

2. Wolves close first half on a big run

After trailing by as many as 16 points in the first half, the Wolves made a run to get back into the game. Minnesota closed the first half on a 24-6 run to take a two-point lead at the half at 49-47.

3. Another double-double for the Big Kat

Karl-Anthony Towns is proving that rookies can be consistent in the NBA. Towns had another double-double, his 36th of the season. He finished the night with 28 points and 14 rebounds.
