The Minnesota Twins beat the Chicago White Sox 5-4, in walk-off fashion, Friday night.

Brian Dozier singled to left field to score Eduardo Escobar, who made a fantastic slide at home plate to win the game.

Glen Perkins picked up the win in relief for the Twins, after blowing just his third save of the season. Ricky Nolasco started, he went just over five innings. Nolasco didn't factor in the decision, but gave up two runs on six hits, while walking and striking out two.

It was a nice answer for the Twins after Chicago erased their 4-2 lead in the top of the ninth.

Josh Willingham misplayed a ball in left field, resulting in a one-out triple for Dayan Viciedo, The White Sox strung together three more hits from Paul Konerko, Tyler Flowers and Adam Eaton to even up the score.

After intentionally walking Gordon Beckham, Perkins escaped the ninth after he got Gillaspie to hit into an inning ending double play.

Kurt Suzuki had a big night. The Twins catcher was 3 for 4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored.

He also made a big play defensively in the game when he cut down Conner Gillaspie, who was trying to take second base after Suzuki blocked a ball in the dirt.

Escobar also had a key two-run double in the second inning, for Minnesota.

The Twins and White Sox meet in game three of the series Saturday afternoon at Target Field.
