Warriors pull away as Wolves drop sixth straight

The Minnesota Timberwolves lost their sixth straight game Monday night, falling to the Golden State Warriors 102-86.

It was the Wolves' eighth loss in their last 10 games, while the Warriors won for a franchise-record 13th straight time.

Steph Curry wasn't hitting shots from behind the arc, but still found a way to score 21 points and dish out seven assists to lead the Warriors, and Klay Thompson added 21.

The Wolves didn't ever really get much going; they shot just 36 percent from the floor and turned the ball over 19 times.

Andrew Wiggins led Minnesota with a team-high 21 points. The first pick in the NBA Draft also grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists. Shabazz Muhammed added 14 and Thaddeus Young chipped in with 13 points and seven rebounds for the Wolves.

But the Wolves did do some nice things defensively, including holding the Warriors to a season low in three-pointers.

The Wolves (4-16) host the Portland Trailblazers on Wednesday night.
