Watch: 5-year-old fan devastated by trade of Minnesota native T.J. Oshie recovers

In Minnesota we certainly know how it feels when our favorite sports star ends up on another team. Whether your favorite team is the Vikings, Twins, Wild or Timberwolves, all of them have lost some of their great players.

Randy Moss was on his way to being the greatest Vikings receiver – until he wasn't. Daunte Culpepper was on his way to a promising career as the Vikings franchise quarterback until he, like Moss, was traded away.

Torii Hunter began his career with the Twins – quickly becoming a fan favorite, but he became a free agent and signed with Anaheim in 2008.

Then there's Kevin Garnett, who played 12 seasons with the Wolves, but won an NBA title with Boston.

So most of us can probably identify with this little girl – Libby Lu – when she found out her favorite hockey player, Minnesota native T.J. Oshie, was traded from St. Louis to Washington.

Her reaction went viral and was even picked up by ESPN. So naturally Oshie found out about it and SportsCenter connected the two.
