Watch: Former Twins catcher knocked over by star softball pitcher
The 2017 national champion Oklahoma Sooners clearly had quite the advantage at pitcher this season in starter Paige Parker.
In fact, she knocked over (literally) former Twins catcher Drew Butera with her wicked underhand fastball – while simply warming up for a ceremonial first pitch.
Parker was throwing out the first pitch during the Royals game, so Butera – now with Kansas City – volunteered to take a few warm-up pitches.
Safe to say the @Royals were impressed when @paigeparker008 warmed up last week before her first pitch.

Not hard to see Butera had no idea she was going to be hurling it close to 70 miles per hour.
Parker led the team in wins, ERA, strikeouts, innings, and starts as a junior in 2017. She is a big reason why the Sooners have won back-to-back national championships in NCAA softball.
