The Twins put on a hitting clinic Saturday afternoon in a 17-5 route against the Texas Rangers. Max Kepler led the way with 2 home runs and set a team record for runs batted in by a rookie.

Eight of the nine Twins starters scored at least 2 runs in the win. Eduardo Nunez continued to make his case for the All-Star Game going 4-5 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI. Miguel Sano also launched a ball into the second deck of Target Field.

Tyler Duffey picked up his second consecutive win pitching six solid innings. Other than a Shin-Soo Choo home run in 7th, The Twins' bullpen was effective with Buddy Boshers and Kevin Jepsen pitching perfect innings of relief.

Not only was it a solid win but it was a win over one of the best teams in the league. Even with the loss, the Rangers still own the best record in the big leagues.
