Watch: Minnesota Whitecaps cap 1st season in NWHL with championship

The Minnesota Whitecaps are one-for-one in the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL), winning the league championship and the Isobel Cup in overtime Sunday afternoon at TRIA Rink in St. Paul. 

Ex-Gopher Lee Stecklein scored the game-winning goal in the first minute of overtime to give Minnesota a 2-1 win over the Buffalo Beauts. 

Here's a couple of looks at the winning goal. 

The Whitecaps were the No. 1 seed after a dominant season in which they sold out all 10 games they played at TRIA Rink.
