Remember when Brock Lesnar tried out for the Vikings in 2004?

He didn't make the team, but the WWE/MMA superstar definitely left a lasting impression on his teammates. One guy, wide receiver Nate Burleson, told a story for CBS Sports about the time Lesnar took a player from the Kansas City Chiefs to "Suplex City."

There's no video proof of Lesnar actually suplexing someone, but he definitely was part of some mayhem. Check out the video WCCO captured from that 2004 Vikings-Chiefs training camp scrimmage.

Andy Rennecke, who at the time was a sports writer for the Mitchell Daily Republic, got a one-on-one with Lesnar after that raucous practice.

Apparently, the Chiefs were out to get Lesnar after he put a helmet into quarterback Brock Huard's back. Lesnar was not apologetic.

"That's just me. I'm here to play football and I'm here to make the team," Lesnar told Rennecke. "We have full pads on and if that's the tempo they want to play at, maybe my tempo is just a little different. It felt good to hit him. But it would have felt better if I would have hit him harder."
