Spring training highlights can be hard to come by, but Detroit Tigers first baseman flashed his veteran savvy when he pulled of a bit of a hidden ball trick against the Twins on Monday.

It happened when Twins infielder Ehire Adrianza dove back to the base during a pickoff attempt. He was safe at first, but Cabrera faked a throw back to the pitcher and when Adrianza got up and lost contact with the base, Cabrera tagged him out

Also asleep on the play was Twins first base coach Toby Gardenhire, the song of longtime Twins manager Ron Gardenhire.

Toby was recently named the manager of the Twins' minor league affiliate, the Fort Myers Miracle.

Of course, Ron now managers the Tigers.
