We filtered through hundreds of 'How I became a Green Bay Packers fan' stories and found this

Mr. Bongiovanni has a brilliant mind.

Imagine waking up on a Monday morning, discovering a Wisconsin newspaper website filled with stories from people explaining how they became fans of the Green Bay Packers.

It's a worst nightmare start to the work week. Alas, eyes cannot unsee what's been seen.

We read through hundreds of the tales, and although desperately in need of a shower and one of those lights Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith use to erase a person's memory in Men in Black, we discovered a story that stood out from the rest.

"IT WAS A COLD DECEMBER 31, 1967 AND DAD WAS TELLING AT MOM TO HURRY UP, WERE GOING TO BE LATE FOR THE GAME, WE HAVE FRONT ROW TICKETS. BUT POOR MOM WAS 9 MONTHS PREGNANT AND COULD BARELY WALK. THEY GOT TO THE GAME AND THATS ALL MY MOTHER THOUGHT WAS GETTING THROUGH THE GAME BECAUSE IT WAS SO COLD. IT WAS LATE IN THE 4-TH QUARTER AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE WAS A BIG KICK (THAT WAS IN HER STOMACH). AND SHE SCREAMED WILLIAM I THINK I AM HAVING THE BABY. EVERYBODY GATHERED AROUND TO MAKE HER COMFORTABLE UNTIL THE AMBULANCE PEOPLE WORKED THERE WAY DOWN TO HER. BUT IT WAS TO LATE HERE COMES THE BABY. AS SHE WAS SCREAMING DEAR GOD, A HUSH CAME OVER THE CROWD AND JUST THEN MY HEAD CAME OUT TO SEE VINCENT LOMBARDI AND BART STAR STANDING JUST 5 YARDS FROM OUR FRONT ROW SEATS. LOMBARDI LOOKED AT ME AND THEN TURNED TO STAR AND SAID. RUN IT AND LETS GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE. THAT WAS MY FIRST SECONDS ON THIS EARTH AND I REMEMBER AS IF WERE YESTERDAY. AND I BEEN A PACKER FAN EVER SENCE THAT COLD DECEMBER DAY."

The story was told by Ricb Bongiovanni of Victoria, Texas, which we're fairly certain is a made up name and a made up story, but here at BMTN we give credit where credit is due – and In the land of green and gold, Bongiovanni's story is truly gold.

There are literally hundreds of stories you can torture yourself with right here. Some are heartwarming, we'll admit, but the end is never good as the fan always winds up liking the Packers.
