Ponder practices, questionable for Sunday
Rookie Viking quarterback Christian Ponder returned to practice Friday after nursing a bruised hip. The Pioneer Press reports he was throwing passes alongside backups Joe Webb and Sage Rosenfels. He and Adrian Peterson are listed as questionable for Sunday.
Vikings: No QB competition for Ponder
Leslie Frazier announced Thursday that Christian Ponder is the Vikings starting quarterback. It isn't breaking news, but it takes pressure off the second-year QB.
