B) On July 11, 1961, Harmon Killebrew becomes the first Minnesota Twin to appear in an All-Star game. He smacked a pinch-hit home run off of San Francisco's Mike McCormick at Candlestick Park. The National League won, however, 5-4, in 10 innings.
