Minnesota Timberwolves 99

The Timberwolves snapped their four game losing streak with a 99-95 victory over the Sacramento Kings Friday night at Target Center.

1. Wiggins puts together a complete night

Andrew Wiggins had the most complete night of his young NBA career.

He finished with a double-double, his first of the season and third of his career. Wiggins scored 32 points – his fourth 30-point night of the season – and grabbed 10 rebounds. He also dished out six assists.

Four of Wiggins' boards were offensive rebounds, helping the Wolves extend some key possessions and in fitting fashion he also grabbed the deciding board with 1.8 seconds remaining.

2. Shabazz sparks the Wolves on the bench

Shabazz Muhammad also had an outstanding game for the Wolves. He scored 16 points off the bench and grabbed eight boards.

Like Wiggins, Muhammad also grabbed a couple of big offensive rebounds, none were more spectacular than this one though.

3. Battle of Kentucky big men

Friday night's game did feature a matchup of two of the game's most prominent young big men. Karl-Anthony Towns and DeMarcus Cousins – both attended the University of Kentucky.

Cousins finished with a double-double, he had 24 points and 11 rebounds. While Towns had 15 points and eight boards.
