The Minnesota Wild is putting rivalries aside for a good cause.

The Wild is teaming up with the Chicago Blackhawks to raise money to assist Matt Olson and his family.

Last month, the Minnesota native was paralyzed while playing junior hockey for the Chicago Cougars. He caught an edge while racing for a puck behind the net and was severely injured, according to his GoFundMe page. His family has been posting updates on Olson's recovery on a CaringBridge page.

The NHL teams are holding an online auction starting at noon Sunday that includes several "one-of-a-kind experiences," including traveling with each team, tickets to games, and being a Wild or Blackhawks player for a day. All proceeds going to help pay for Olson's medical costs.

More information on the items being auctioned and to bid on them will be available here at noon Sunday.

Those interested in helping support Olson can also donate through a GoFundMe page set up for the family or by making a direct donation to the Matt Olson Benefit Account at North American Banking Company.
