Zach Parise and Jared Spurgeon scored two minutes apart in the second period and goalie Devan Dubnyk made 35 saves to give the Wild a 4-2 win against the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena in a Super Bowl Sunday matinee game. notes it's the Wild's third straight win on their western Canadian road trip.

Minnesota forward Thomas Vanek scored his 10th goal of the season in the third period and Jason Zucker scored an empty-netter late in the game to preserve the win, after Vancouver threatened by scoring twice in the third.

Those two goals by Ronalds Kenins and Daniel Sedin came just 61 seconds apart to cut the Wild’s lead to 3-2 with less than 7 minutes to go.

Minnesota got a break when a goal by Vancouver's Alexander Edler at 3:05 into the third period was waved off. The referees originally called it good, but after a huddle, they ruled that Radim Vrbata of Vancouver interfered with Wild goalie Dubnyk’s ability to play his position.

Mikael Granlund recorded his first two assists in his third game back from wrist surgery, according to the Star Tribune.
