The Minnesota Wild broke a franchise record by winning their eighth straight road game Tuesday night, beating the Nashville Predators 3-2 in overtime.

Matt Dumba fired a slap shot past Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne just seconds into overtime to give Minnesota the win.

Charlie Coyle had a pair of goals for the Wild. He put Minnesota on top in the first period, then scored the game-tying goal with a slap shot in the third. It was the second two-goal game of Coyle's career.

After the Wild took the 1-0 lead late in the first, the Predators came storming back in the second period. Roman Josi scored two goals in less than a minute to turn the tables on Minnesota and give Nashville a 2-1 lead heading into the third.

But the Wild answered in the third with the goal from Coyle and the game-winner in overtime from Dumba.
