Wild's losing streak continues with 4-1 loss in Chicago

The Minnesota Wild remain in a funk. They were outplayed by the Blackhawks in their 4-1 loss in Chicago Sunday night. It was their 11th loss in their last 13 games, according to

The Blackhawks have had little trouble with the Wild this season, having won the first three of the five games they'll play against each other.

Meantime, the Wild looked listless and slow, "stuck in mud," according to the Star Tribune's Michael Russo. The last-place Wild (18-18-5) have lost their third straight game in regulation and are winless in the past five games.

And nobody, from general manager Chuck Fletcher, to head coach Mike Yeo to the players on the ice, seems to have an answer to what's going wrong, Russo writes.

Marian Hossa, Bryan Bickell and Brad Richards each had a goal and an assist, and goalie Corey Crawford made 36 saves, to bring Chicago the win.

Hossa and Bickell scored in the first period to give Chicago a 2-0 lead. Richards and defenseman Johnny Oduya each scored in the second to make it 4-0, according to

The Wild's only score came in the third period when forward Matt Cook scored off a rebound. Goalie Niklas Backstrom made 31 saves and is 0-3-0 against the Blackhawks this season.

Minnesota has the day off Monday before it plays next in Pittsburgh.
