The Wild's winning streak ended at just two games after their 3-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets Monday night at the Xcel Energy Center.

James Wisniewski had a goal and two assists and goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky made 25 saves to lead the Blue Jackets, the Associated Press reports.

Wisniewski scored what would prove to be the game winner early in the third period. He also had assists on the Blue Jackets' other two goals – by Brandon Dubinsky in the first period and Scott Hartnell with 3:03 left in the game.

All-Star goalie Sergei Bobrovsky made 25 saves for Columbus. His career record against the Wild is now 5-1.

Zach Parise scored the Wild's only goal late in the first period on a power play, and Wild goalie Devan Dubnyk had 20 saves on the night. It was his first loss since being traded to Minnesota last week.

The Wild played well for the most part, but some missed opportunities cost them the game, according to

Minnesota hit two posts and Parise missed a penalty shot at 9:02 of the second period. Defenseman Ryan Suter had an apparent goal waved off late in the second when the officials ruled Columbus possessed the puck on a delayed penalty.

GAME NOTES: Columbus won each game against the Wild this season by a 3-1 margin. ... Wild goalie Darcy Kuemper was taken off injured reserve after missing six games because of a lower-body injury. He could play on Tuesday at Detroit. So could center Mikael Granlund, who has missed the last 12 games with a broken left wrist.
