Winona basketball player, 13, makes miracle shot – then repeats it

A Winona Middle School student is making big waves on YouTube after sinking a last-second, miracle shot in a weekend tournament game, FOX 9 reports.

Easton Gamoke, 13, was on the court with the Winona YMCA Running Rebels Sunday in Holmen, Wisconsin, when the nearly-impossible happened (of which you can see video of below).

The Running Rebels were in a tie game with only seconds to go when the eighth-grader heaved the ball nearly the entire length of the court, then watched as the ball rattled through the hoop.

With the 3-pointer, the Running Rebels came out on top 47-44.

Stephanie Simmons, a parent who caught the shot on video, told FOX 9: "To win a game like that, one in a million."

The team was one of the top 32 teams in Minnesota and Wisconsin to make it to the tournament game.

To prove it wasn't a fluke, Gamoke took the shot again for FOX 9 – and made it on his first attempt.

The game video has more than 22,000 views on YouTube so far and counting.

The miracle shot comes only a few days after another eighth-grade student made a full-court buzzer beater in a game in Galesville, Wisconsin, News8000 reports.
