Entering Tuesday's matchup with Detroit in The Palace at Auburn Hills, Minnesota had lost seven of nine and those on the national stage were starting to question the legitimacy of Kevin Love and the Timberwolves.

Minnesota answered in a big way against the Pistons Tuesday, jumping out to an early lead and never looking back in a 121-94 victory.

In Love's first game back with the team since leaving Minnesota to attend to the death of his grandmother, he showed little rust while putting up 26 points and 16 rebounds.

Every starter found double-figures for the Wolves while J.J. Barea also added 10 off the bench.

The Pistons couldn't find the range from deep, going 8-of-28 from beyond the arc while making just eight of their 16 free throws.

The Wolves on the other hand, got to the charity stripe 33 times, converting on 28 of those opportunities.

Minnesota returns to Target Center tomorrow night for a 7 p.m. tap with the Philadelphia 76ers.
