The Timberwolves were beaten handily by the Memphis Grizzlies 109-92, on Monday night. The Wolves played like a team that blew a 22-point lead at home yesterday and perhaps ended their playoff hopes.

The Wolves have now lost three straight and nine of their last 10 in Memphis.

Minnesota has now allowed 100 points in 11 straight games, according to the Star Tribune.

The Wolves never really were in the game. Memphis doubled up on the Wolves in the first quarter, outscoring them 30-15.

Kevin Love finished with 16 points to lead four Wolves, who scored in double figures. Gorgui Dieng again was a bright spot for the Wolves. He scored 11 points and grabbed 17 rebounds, to post another double-double.

Minnesota was without J.J. Barea for the game, in addition to both Nikola Pekovic and Ronny Turiaf, who also missed the game.

Mike Conely led the Grizzlies with 23 points. Zach Randolph added 17. Even Tayshaun Prince who the Wolves were rumored to be considering trading for at the deadline put up 12.
