As advertised entering his first season in Minnesota, Jimmy Butler was a disruption on the defensive end of the floor for the Timberwolves.

The All-Star swingman was rewarded for his defensive work by being named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team on Wednesday.

Joining Butler on the second team are: Dejounte Murray of the Spurs, Al Horford of the Celtics, Draymond Green of the Warriors, and Joel Embiid of the 76ers.

It's the fourth time Butler has made an All-Defensive team, each time being named to the second team.

Butler was Minnesota's only player in the top 100 for defensive win shares.
